Além disso, eu estava sozinha ali no quarto.

I thought for several days about what to write in this post. I could talk about the fascinating culture of Rajasthan, in terms of dances, clothing, art, and cultural manifestations. I could talk about the highly influential caste system in society here, which limits many people to what their castes determine they were "born to be." I could also talk about the people I met, each of them leaving a mark on my existence, understanding their stories, victories, and challenges. Despite this, I want to talk about following the things that come from the heart. About following your intuition and the voice that comes from within.
On a nice February night, I dreamed about Jaipur. I arrived on a street, the day was somewhat foggy, and at the end of this street there was a colorful palace that had the same shape as the Palace of Winds, Hawa Mahal. When I entered the house where I was going to stay, there was a prevalence of the color blue in many elements of the dream. Furthermore, I was alone in the room. Talking to a friend who studies dream interpretation, she told me that blue speaks a lot about the sixth chakra, of intuition. How important it would be during this period for me to align my feminine energy, balancing it with the masculine energy that also exists within me. The morning after the dream, I decided that I would go to Jaipur during my trip to India. In my first days there, I had many meditative moments, and in one of them, the color blue manifested to me in the form of a woman surrounded by light. A lot of light, a lot of sensation of peace.
During another meditation, I received in my intuition that I should go to Udaipur, known as the city of lakes, which is 7 and a half hours away from Jaipur (by bus). The next morning, I bought the ticket and took the overnight bus, arriving there the next morning. My first day in Udaipur was indeed a hazy day. There was a fog hovering over the city, and the weather was very mild and cool, something I was missing here in India. The landscape there is simply beautiful. From the hostel terrace, we have an incredible view of the lake, palaces, and hills right in front. Contemplating nature brought me a sense of tranquility and genuine happiness. I met a group of Indian friends who were traveling together, and they simply adopted me and invited me to spend the day with them. We went to several beautiful places, from a temple atop a hill to a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Twelve of us rode in a single tuk-tuk and sat in a snack bar to eat dozens of Indian foods, with typical saffron, curry, and coriander flavours. At the end of the day, I sat down to write on the hostel terrace and witnessed a wonderful sunset, watching that huge ball of fire set on the hill right in front of me. Hours later, the moon appeared as a thin yellow smile, full of good feelings of gratitude and love. The atmosphere at the hostel was calm and friendly, people sitting in a circle, getting to know each other and being interested in each other's stories. This hostel is owned by a cute, young, open-minded Indian woman. It makes me very happy and proud to see a woman being in charge of herself in this way, creating her own story and a highly relaxed environment in a country as conservative as India. Like me, she brings people from all over the world into her family and life context. The two days in Udaipur were magical. As if that wasn't enough, I was lucky to be there during a festival called Ganghor or Gangaur. I had the privilege of watching various music performances, women's and men's dances, and forest beings’ dance as well. I even witnessed the king and the royal family sailing on their boat. The city was beautiful and multicoloured, with a lot of good vibes and happy, smiling people. I left there with a taste for more.
Following the voice of the heart is to pause for a moment, to allow oneself to listen to oneself, to create a connection between you and the source of eternal life, of light, the place from where we come from. This channel is available within each of us, but unfortunately, only a few people can awaken and connect because of the way we live today. Thoughts are accelerated, rest and deep relaxation are almost nonexistent, causing us to drift away from our true selves, our sacred selves. When we stop, sit down, pay attention to our own breath, and focus our thoughts on gratitude and non-judgment, we open this channel. We come to understand again that we are all one and we are all connected. Everything on this planet is conscious in its own way.
One day, I wrote the following text during what I decided to call subconscious writing: "There are things that cannot be touched, there are things that can be seen, in the darkness of the mind and in the awakening of the illusion of this world that is rational and transitory. A way through a larger orbital plane that can be found when you connect within yourself. Each path is guarded in an immensity of stars and connections guided by guardians who may be here present in your life in different and necessary formats to understand how to reach you. In the dark, you can see, with closed eyes and an open heart, your pulse beats with the stars and is sacred, in this instant as is and in any other moment."
With this, I conclude my text for today. Please, take a minute for reflection. See you next week, in the Himalayan mountains! 🇳🇵
